Matthew 9:1-2
Jesus stepped into a boat, crossed over and came to his own town. 2 Some men brought to him a paralyzed man, lying on a mat. When Jesus saw their faith, he said to the man, “Take heart, son; your sins are forgiven.”
I am encouraged that Jesus rewards faith. I know it sounds obvious, but it's good to be reminded that faith truly does please God, and that it doesn't take a whole lot of faith to please Him. We don't serve a demanding task-master, but a tender-hearted Father. Jesus incarnated this love. Praise be to Him!
