- Do you have a daughter entering the 4th-6th grade this fall? Consider bringing her to the self-esteem workshops this Thursday & Friday, 4-7pm at BUMC. Find out more here.
- Do you have a son entering 5th-6th grade this fall? Join a group of fathers and sons to discuss issues related to a boy’s development. The group will work with the book The Squire and the Scroll to foster open and honest communication between father and son, build trust and respect, create a vision of what becoming a man means and gently discuss sensitive issues in a safe and fun environment. Fathers and sons will meet as a group from Sunday, July 31 through October 23, 7-8pm. A “knighting” will be held as a graduation ceremony at the end of the sessions on October 23.
