Congrats to Pete Smith for his "win" at last Saturday's Holy Smokes fundraiser for Flatirons Habitat for Humanity! Of course, the real winners are those whose dreams of homeownership will be assisted by the over $3,500 raised at the event. But Pete and his team* get bragging rights for having gotten the most tips for their "Vote for Me, I Cry Easily Meatballs." * We think the cowboy hat deserves some of the credit, too.
Kudos also go to Pastor Thomas for his stuffing, and the Sunrise and Chancel Choirs (led by Riikka Caffrey) who helped with preparation and provided support on the big day!
